Why we're building it
Accounting has one rule anyone can understand: every rupee has two sides, and they have to match. When they do, the books balance.
Many founders never see that happen. Their books sit in software built for accountants, in a language they were never taught. The numbers arrive as a PDF at the end of the quarter, and the questions that matter ("how long does our cash last?", "what's due this month?", "why is this expense here?") wait for the next call with the CA.
Alignmoney is built on a different idea. Your business has the numbers. You need the answers. Upload your bank statement and Alignmoney suggests the entries, with the reason for each one in plain English. You approve them. Invite your CA and they review the same books. The aim is that you understand your numbers, not just look at them.

How it started
Alignmoney started with a founder's frustration with compliance and bookkeeping. We think founders building today should not have to face that.

What we won't do
- Pretend to be your CA. Alignmoney is software. We prepare. You or your CA file.
- Hide the price. Every price is shown with and without GST, in the same line.
- Hold your books hostage. If you stop paying, your books stay readable on Keep, and export is free.
