Privacy notice

Alignmoney is operated by IVAR KEFI VENTURES PVT LTD (CIN U74999UP2020PTC131299). Place of business: T-Hub, Hyderabad, Telangana. Phone: 8897930924.

Changed on 7 October 2026: we added a sentence saying that people in the same company see your name or email address next to what you do there.

Changed on 12 October 2026: we corrected "Your choices" to say what Settings → Data and privacy offers today (download everything, delete the company) and that other requests go to privacy@alignmoney.in.

What we collect and why

  • Your name, email and (if you give it) phone number: to create your account, sign you in, send receipts and trial dates, and support you. People who can open the same company in Alignmoney, including an accountant you invite, see your name or email address next to what you do there (entries you post, months you lock or unlock, lines you exclude and corrections you make), so the company has a record of who did what.
  • Your company's PAN, GSTIN, entity type and state: to work out which due dates to show you.
  • Your bank statements, invoices and books: to suggest journal entries, explain them, build your reports and cash view, and answer your questions.
  • How you use the app: to keep it secure and fix problems.

Where it goes

To suggest entries and answer questions, we send the parts of your statements and books the AI needs to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them outside India.

This can include the names of your customers and vendors as they appear in your statements and books.

Your choices

Company owners can download everything or delete the company in Settings → Data and privacy. To withdraw consent, correct your details or delete your own account, write to our grievance officer at privacy@alignmoney.in; we reply within one month. If we haven't resolved a complaint about your personal data, you can then complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
